Co-fermented with a little Viognier, 2008 Chapter Three Shiraz Viognier has a deep garnet-purple color and moderate intensity of crushed blackberry and black pepper aromas with a touch of peach blossom and a dusting of cinnamon. With crisp acid, a medium to full body and a medium level of very fine tannins, this is a Shiraz with elegant styling and a long finish. Drinking now, it should continue to give pleasure to 2016+. McPherson’s Basilisk wines are solidly made and offer a good value taste of Central Victoria fruit.Importers: Epic, Santa Cruz, CA; tel.
