The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva (100%) which saw 50% of the wine aged for 8 months in new French and American oak. Scents of cedar, spice box, violets, tobacco, and black currant lead to a savory, ripe, smooth-textured, nicely proportioned Cabernet. It is a very good value that should provide enjoyment for another 3-4 years. The MontGras portfolio proved to be a mixed bag as some of the wines could not be recommended.
