The 2010 Pinot Gris has notes of ripe pears, gold delicious apples and melon. Medium bodied with a touch of sweetness, it gives a good amount of pear and apple flavor in the mouth with a medium-long finish. Drinking now it should remain fresh through 2013. The 2008 Pinot Gris displays a phenolic nose with pear skin, yellow flowers and grass cuttings. A simple palate but nicely balanced with pear, dried apricot and a touch of spice. Moderate weight. Balanced on the finish with touches of elderflower. Fine if just a little ephemeral. No known American importer.
