This wine varies in quality and perception based on when in its lifespan you taste it. Now, toward the end of the line, it’s tropical and hanging in there, with green apple, citrus and other typical SB aromas and flavors. Up until now we haven’t been real fond of the Oops brand from Chile. However, this Sauvignon Blanc is exactly what we like. It starts with a basic but comfortable blend of citrusy aromas before showing a complete palate consisting of apple, grapefruit, celery and white pepper flavors. A totally solid wine with no gaps. The oops concept is to blend Carmenere, the so-called lost variety, into everything, including Sauvignon Blanc.
