The 2007 Zubiola Edicion Limitada is made up of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc aged for 15 months in new French oak. Purple/black in color, the nose displays aromas of wood smoke, pencil lead, truffles, tobacco, violets, and black currant. On the palate it exhibits some elegance, impeccable balance, and 3-4 years of aging potential. This concentrated, savory offering will have a drinking window extending from 2013 to 2022.
