A stunning effort from Priorat, the deep ruby/purple-colored 2003 Gratavinum reveals gorgeous aromas of black raspberries, cherries, currants, crushed rocks, and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied and powerful, with sweet tannin, beautiful purity, and decent acidity, it is an impressive, world-class wine that can be drunk young or cellared for 10-12 years. It is big, but also refreshing and rich. Bravo!Importer: Loest and McNamee, Inc., Boutique Wine Co., Philadelphia, PA; tel. (914) 954-6583
