The label started by Chapoutier's former export manager lives on, despite his departure for Australia several years ago. Made at Ferraton, the 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape starts off a bit reductive, with scents of asphalt and black olive, but it compensates with a dash of raspberry compote in the mix. A blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, it's medium to full-bodied, with decent concentration and a plush, silky feel, balanced by some drying tannins on the finish.
