The 2015 Langhe Nebbiolo exhibits a delicate, ruby-tinged hue and a lean appearance. The bouquet opens to wild berry, rose hip and perfumed tea leaf. There is a touch of initial bitterness in terms of mouthfeel, but it softens as the wine opens in the glass. This is a fresh and easy-drinking Nebbiolo that would pair with pasta topped with fried eggplant and tomato. Some 45,000 bottles were made.
