The 2009 Shiraz Viognier displays a deep garnet-purple color and a little reduction that soon gives way to ripe black cherries and black currant aromas plus hints of tar, apricot kernels, savory black licorice and loam. Medium to full-bodied, it has generous flesh over a moderately firm backbone of crisp acid and medium level grainy tannins. The finish is long. Drink this one now through 2016+. No known USA importer.
