The 2012 Watervale Riesling has intense notes of waxy lemons, pineapple and lime leaves with touches of mandarin peel and lanolin. Light-bodied, dry and with plenty of mouth-watering citrus and herb flavors in the mouth, it finishes long with some minerals coming through. Approachable now, it should cellar to 2018+. The 2010 Watervale Riesling has pronounced aromas of lemonade, fresh cut herbs and coriander seed with a whiff of wet pebbles. The dry, medium bodied palate has good weight and plenty of ripe citrus flavors, going long and steely in the finish. Reillys’ 2009 Watervale Riesling has intense aromas of lime juice, grapefruit zest and crushed stones with a hint of lemongrass.
