The 2010 Barbaresco Riserva Boito shows explosive intensity and an exciting progression of dark fruit, spice, leather and white truffle aromas. This riserva reveals thicker lines, grit and power on the close.

The 2009 Barbaresco Riserva Boito opens to a dark, saturated color and shows a more profound character thanks to the ripe fruit harvested in the warm 2009 vintage. Thick veins of plush cherry and blackberry run through the bouquet and the mouthfeel denotes a touch of sour or bitter fruit. Drink: 2016-2023. From a dynamic father and son team, Ernesto and Enrico Rizzi make wines with a wide drinking window. Most times they are ready to drink before other nearby expressions of Barbaresco, but they are also engineered to last long in the cellar.
