The Rizzi 2021 Langhe Chardonnay is a bright and luminous white wine with a pretty succession of aromas that jumps from citrus and Golden Delicious apple to blanched almond and crushed stone. A 4,800-bottle release, Rizzi's 2018 Langhe Chardonnay is a subdued and simple expression of this versatile white grape. The bouquet offers medium intensity with aromas of stone and passion fruits, with some melon and yellow rose at the back. There is a touch of chalkiness or minerality that recalls the calcareous soils of the Langhe region. It closes with some snappy lemon zest.

The 2017 Langhe Chardonnay is a fresh and easy-drinking white that would pair with your basic appetizer foods or salad lunches. The bouquet offers some mildly yeasty tones of banana and pineapple with fresher tones of peach and honeydew melon to balance it out.
