The 2018 season in Margaret River was sensational. The growing season was warm and largely devoid of any weather that could be held responsible for viticultural challenges, and the wines on the whole have been hugely impressive as a group. Here, the 2018 Finisterre Cabernet Sauvignon is a product of this season, and it shows good density of Wilyabrup fruit alongside a profusion of French oak (matured 18 months in a combination of new and used). A muscular wine, it's plush and ripe, as the vintage dictates. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.
