The 2019 Apartado Gran Malbec is an intense Malbec produced with grapes from different locations in the Valle de Uco, a selection of the best barrels. It has some developed notes and feels polished, ripe without excess, with varietal notes of violets, berries and herbs and some dusty aromas of brick dust and rusty iron. It matured in French oak barrels, 50% new, 50% second-use, for 18 months. It has integrated oak, ripe fruit and very tasty flavors, with good ripeness and 13.9% alcohol, with round tannins and a dry, long finish. 10,440 bottles were filled in August 2020.

The 2018 Apartado Gran Malbec is a selection from El Cepillo, La Consulta and Gualtallary, a blend of the best barrels from a given vintage matured in French oak barrels, 50% new, 50% second use, for 18 months. It reveals some toasty and smoky aromas, ripe fruit and very tasty flavors with round tannins and a dry, serious finish.

Rich and well-spiced, with finely textured flavors of raspberry, red currant and plum supported by fresh acidity and tannins. Chocolate and pastry accents on the finish. Drink now through 2024. 700 cases made, 150 cases imported.??–KM??Region: Argentina / Mendoza Select to Add

The 2016 Apartado Gran Malbec is a selection from Gualtallary and Altamira with a little bit from an old vineyard from La Consulta. It matured in French oak barrels, 50% new, 50% second use for 18 months. It's a very nice blend, with clean and focused aromas and flavors and a spicy and fresh touch in the palate. The oak is very integrated, almost unnoticeable, with very tasty flavors and a dry, serious finish. 13,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2018.

A peppery note accents the dried red fruit and green herbal flavors that glide across the palate. The minerally finish shows elegant touches. Drink now through 2022. 600 cases made, 100 cases imported.??–KM??Region: Argentina / Mendoza Select to Add
