Produced with grapes from the Valle de Uco, the 2017 Trumpeter Malbec fermented in stainless steel with selected yeasts, and part of the volume was in contact with oak. As with many wines in this range, it has some five grams of residual sugar. This is a crowd-pleaser. It's fruit-driven, fresh, varietal and easy to understand. It has a soft mouthfeel, with some bitterness in the finish. Four million bottles produced.
