The 2020 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills is Chablisienne in style, opening with matchstick and roasted almond that give way to pure scents of lemon peel and chalk. The light-bodied palate is juicy and bright with transparent citrus flavors and a touch of texture to anchor the long, softly leesy finish.

The 2018 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills opens with touches of flint and struck match with notes of crunchy tree fruits and nutty accents. The palate is medium-bodied with the same flint, nutty character, bright acidity and a long, layered finish. This could use another year or two in bottle. 1,772 cases produced.

The 2017 Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills was aged 12 months in used, 500-liter barrels and another six months in tank. It's youthfully shy on the nose, slowly giving up notions of saline, crushed shell, Greek yogurt and orange blossom with pie crust, Golden delicious apple, white peaches and notes of honey and hazelnut. Light to medium-bodied, it offers great balance of spicy fruit and mineral notions framed by tangy acidity and finishing long and textured. 1,038 cases were made.
