The 2020 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard has soft scents of panna cotta, Meyer lemon, crushed almonds and beeswax, with additional nuances emerging as it spends time in the glass. Medium-bodied and silky with bright bursts of acidity, it features creamy citrus fruits and a touch of texture that draws out the finish.

The 2019 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard opens with singular herbal tones reminiscent of sagebrush accenting a core of white peaches and bass tones of beeswax. The full-bodied palate is plush, satiny and seamlessly fresh, with layered flavors and a very long, very detailed finish.

From vines planted in the early 1970s, the 2017 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard has a youthfully restrained nose, slowly opening to toasted hazelnut, gunflint and stone with ripe white peach, red apple skin, citrus peel, pastry crust and baker's yeast hints. Light to medium-bodied with a silky, creamy texture, it has a great core of nuanced fruits with juicy acidity and a long, spicy, textured finish. 268 cases produced.

The 2016 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard reveals a lovely nose of fresh apples, pear, buttered popcorn, and struck match. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and silky, more giving than the Bien Nacido, with a layered mid-palate and good depth and length. A lovely Chardonnay from this historic Sta. Rita Hills vineyard site.

The 2015 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard has beautiful honeysuckle, peach blossoms and candied ginger scents over a core of ripe pears and spiced apples. Light to medium-bodied with wonderfully delicate, multilayered flavors, it has a satiny texture and long, mineral-laced finish.
