Blended of 55% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 20% Shiraz, the 2009 Grenache Mourvedre Shiraz presents a medium-deep garnet-purple color and warm raspberry, blackberry and mulberry aromas over pronounced spice notes: cinnamon stick, cloves, vanilla and nutmeg. Full and well balanced on the palate with crisp acid, a medium level of velvety tannins and plenty of warm spicy fruit, it gives a long finish. Drinking now, it should keep to 2014.
