The sublime 2008 Gewurztraminer has a very vibrant bouquet, good definition with subtle notes of honeysuckle, tinned apricot, white peach and a touch of hazelnut. Not blowsy at all - very controlled. Again, the palate is understated, with a lovely sense of balance. Subtle aromatic fruits, apricots, white peach, a touch of lemongrass and ginger with a controlled landing on the finish. A great success, just like the 2007.
