Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2008 One Eye Shiraz presents ripe blackberry, creme de cassis and eucalypt aromas over notes of chocolate box and coffee. Full bodied, rich, and generously fruited, it has a medium-firm level of chewy tannins, refreshing acid and a long layered finish. Drinking now, it should cellar through 2018+. Shadowfax does not have a USA importer, though exports to the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong.
