The 2009 Chardonnay has ripe, toasty, apricot and honeydew notes with some apple blossom and butterscotch hints. Crisp, medium bodied and with good concentration, this is a pleasantly taut, softly textured wine with a long finish. Drink it now through 2014. The 2008 Chardonnay has an intensely yeasty nose going a little mealy with nuances of cashews, preserved lemons, green mango and under-ripe pineapple. Tightly knit and minerally in the mouth is has a good amount of fruit, high acid and a long toasty finish. Drinking now, it should cellar to 2016.
