The Rh?ne variety has been a staple at this winery, and the 2021 Viognier features hints of struck flint, vaguely floral aromas and notes of pineapple and apricot. Sourced from vineyards in Carneros and Oak Knoll, it's medium-bodied, with a gently phenolic feel and silky finish.

The 2020 Viognier—a blend of fruit from Carneros and Oak Knoll—is vaguely floral, with pear and citrus notes as well. A bit on the lean side and rather restrained for such a potentially flamboyant variety, it's medium bodied, clean and crisp.

The 2019 Viognier was aged for five months, entirely in neutral wood. The nose is a little closed to begin, soon giving way to notes of Bosc pears, apple pie and fresh nectarine with touches of aniseed and allspice. Medium-bodied, the palate has a lot of zip and zing with a silken texture and lemony lift to the finish. 3,195 cases were made.

The 2018 Viognier gives up seriously spicy notes of nutmeg, coriander seed and star anise with a core of baked pears, ripe apricots, honeysuckle and apple pie. Medium-bodied, the palate is wonderfully crisp and invigorating, pushing all that spicy perfume to a very long finish. 4,522 cases were made.

The 2017 Viognier gives lovely honeyed peaches, poached pears and orange blossoms with touches of aniseed and baking bread. Medium-bodied with a slight oiliness to the texture, it delivers loads of spicy layers and a long peachy finish. 2,776 cases produced.
