The 2009 Divio Viognier was aged in neutral oak. Light gold in color, it gives up aromas of stone fruit, orange blossom, pear, and tropical notes. Supple on the palate, dry and concentrated, there are notes of minerality, tropical fruits, and lively acidity leading to a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. Located in Woodinville (along with 40-50 other wineries), Tim Stevens’ first vintage was 2001 with current production at 2500 cases. Stevens had worked exclusively with Yakima Valley fruit from Sheridan, Meek, DuBrul, and Dineen vineyards.Tel. (425) 453-5988; www.stevenswinery.com
