Concentrated and impressive, the 1998 St.-Joseph Les Roches was produced from yields of 20 hectoliters per hectare. It exhibits a dark ruby/purple color, high tannin, and mineral-infused, flinty, black cherry and cassis fruit. This medium to full-bodied, backward St.-Joseph requires 2-3 years of cellaring, and will keep for 15 years.
