The Islander Estate’s 2006 Majestic Plough Malbec offers a deep garnet-purple color and pronounced notes of warm black cherry, blackberry, plums and hints of underbrush and dried oregano. Medium-full bodied, rich and with a good amount of flavor layers, it’s well structured with high acidity and firm chewy tannins, presenting a long earthy finish. Drink it now to 2015+.
