The 2009 Pinot Noir Hawks View Vineyard sports a bouquet of balsam wood, Asian spices, incense, cherry, and cassis. Sweetly-fruited, smooth-textured, and with a sense of elegance, this medium-long Pinot will provide pleasure through 2019. Torii Mor was founded in 1993 by Dr. Donald and Margie Olson. The 2006 Pinot Noir Hawk’s View Vineyard is dark ruby-colored with a reticent nose in which spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry notes eventually emerge. This is one of the more structured of the 2006 offerings with excellent depth and grip. Allow for another 2-3 years in the bottle and drink it from 2011 to 2020.
