The 2010 Pinot Bianco is laced with ash, smoke and minerals, all of which add considerable nuance and complexity to the citrus-infused fruit. This is one of the tighter, more focused wines in the lineup. While some of the other wines can be enjoyed on their own, the Pinot Bianco is an intense white best suited for the dinner table. The 2008 Pinot Bianco flows with a generous, textured expression of apricots, mint and sage, all of which are underpinned by bright, vibrant notes of minerality that give the wine its length and poise. This is a remarkably well-balanced Pinot Bianco. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012. I was quite impressed with the wines I tasted from Toros this year. The 2007 Pinot Bianco offers a level of refinement particularly in the aromatics, that few whites can match in this vintage. This medium-bodied wine reveals layers of smoke, flowers and ripe fruit, in a focused style, with plenty of depth on the palate and a sweet, lingering finish. Anticipated maturity: 2008-2012.
