The 2005 CABERNET SAUVIGNON is a fine example of how well this winery works with international grapes. It is a bit on the lighter side, but it is delicious and nicely structured, lingering on the finish and quite flavorful. It should age gracefully for several more years. There were 14,000 bottles produced. Drink now-2015.Founded in 1989, with its first vintage in 1995, Tselepos today releases about 300,000 bottles a year. French trained owner Yiannis Tselepos received his oenology degree in Dijon and worked in Burgundy. He does good work with local grapes, but also makes good international wines like Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Gewurztraminer.Importer: VOS Selections, New York, N.Y.; tel: (212) 967-6948
