The 2008 Zinfandel Stone Tree Vineyard contains 20% Primitivo and 5% Petite Sirah in its blend. Brier, underbrush, and cherry cola aromas reveal a wine with very good varietal character. Savory, balanced, and lengthy, it will drink well for another 5-6 years. Two Vintners’ first vintage was in 2007. Zinfandel is still looking for a clear identity in Washington, but this Wahluke Slope vineyard is one of the bright spots for the grape.
