Jochen Dreissigacker's 2017 Sp?tburgunder Wunderwerk shows a dark ruby-garnet color and opens with an intense bouquet of concentrated, super ripe fruits reminiscent of sweet cherries, plums and potted berries intertwined with delicate toasty notes. Full-bodied, refined and elegant on the palate, this is a rich and intense yet pretty placative Pinot with intense and concentrated fruit, fine tannins and a good finish. It's not really fine on the aftertaste but pleasing the texture and volume drinkers. 13.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2023.

From reduced yields and fermented for 40 days, the 2016 Sp?tburgunder Wunderwerk is pretty oaky and drying on the finish, yet it's also juicy and fruity, with intense dark berry and cherry aromas. 13.5% alcohol. Bottled and tasted in early March 2020.

Dreissigacker's 2013 Sp?tburgunder Wunderwerk displays a very clear and aromatic bouquet of dark berries, cherries and mocha. Medium-bodied, fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a very delicate and silky textured wine from young Pinot vines. The tannins are very fine, and the total expression is nicely fresh and filigreed. This is a very promising wine to be watched over the next years.
