The 2019 Riesling Gutswein is very intense on the lemony nose that reveals fine maturity and demonstrates how invaluable it is to let Riesling age for a little while. Before we start talking about 2021, wine lovers should get their hands on the 2019, if possible. This is a medium-bodied, round and mouth-filling, very elegant, refined and fresh dry estate Riesling with a stimulatingly salty finish. It has the first hints of maturity that not only add complexity but should also match perfectly with food, especially white (even roasted) freshwater fish. 12% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in January 2022.
