The 2007 Riesling A.P. #15 is one of two generically labeled intro-level Willi Haag wines from the Burgener Romerberg, a site on a side valley some distance from the Mosel but – as the evidence at hand shows – more than capable of ripening Riesling. Aromas of gardenia, marzipan, peach, musk melon, and a hint of caramel usher in a lush, creamy palate whose juicy freshness proves entirely compatible with continued suggestions of caramel. Enjoy this over the next 3-4 years. Marcus Haag has enjoyed another highly successful vintage in 2007, when his harvest lasted from October 12-27.Various importers including Winebow Inc., Montvale, NJ; tel. (201) 445-0620
