This Cabernet-based Bordeaux blend is very fine, and shows the classic structure of Rutherford. The tannins are rich and dusty, and there’s a sour candy taste to the red and black cherries, enriched with smoky oak. With a long, richly spicy finish, it should easily negotiate the next 6–8 years in the cellar. ——S.H.(6/1/2010)—— 94
