This is a fun and versatile wine that would pair with all sorts of your favorite home-cooked meals that are informal and savory. The wine adds plenty of spark and freshness to the palate, thus livening things up before your next bite. The blend is 60% Corvina, 20% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella. Some 100,000 bottles were released.

The 2016 Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Marogne is a fresh and very informal blend of 60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 10% Corvinone that sees a brief 12 months in oak. Dark cherry and blackberry cede to cinnamon and light nutmeg. Production is very generous with some 250,000 bottles made.
