Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Uncut Shiraz has quite a lot of cedar and toasty spice aromas over warm blackberries, eucalypt and blueberry pie filling. Medium to full bodied with plenty of concentrated berry fruit and medium-firm chewy tannins plus high acid to give structure, it has very good persistence with lingering anise and nutmeg notes.
