The 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is a vast improvement on the disappointing 2010. Blended with 10% Semillon and kept on the lees for 5 months before bottling, it has a fresh bouquet with crisp green apple, Nashi pear and dandelion. After an hour gorgeous peach notes begin to flourish. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity that is totally in synch with the delicate passion fruit and orange peel notes towards the finish.
