From down south, the earthy 2004 Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills shows medium body, notes of spice, beet roots, and a hint of soy and balsamic vinegar. It is crisp, elegant, medium-bodied, and distinctive from the other Pinots. I suspect most readers will either love or hate it. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.Tel. (888) 668-7729
