The 2013 Pinot Noir Russian River is their largest cuvée of just over 4,000 cases. It is made from the grapes of five separate vineyards, and includes about 20% whole clusters in the fermentation. The wine displays sweet and sour cherries, a seductive, meaty herbaceousness and roundness, lush tannin and good depth of fruit and finish. This wine was aged in about 40% new French oak for 12 months, moved to tank for three months and then bottled unfiltered. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
