The 1999 Gran Reserva, a dark ruby-colored wine, exhibits nicely developed aromas of cedar, cinnamon, leather, black currants, and blackberry. This is followed by a wine that has a solid core of fruit but is a bit lacking in depth and breadth. Enjoy it over the next 3-5 years while the fruit holds.
