The 1999 Chaleur Estate white, a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon from the Red Mountain and Sagemore vineyards, reveals demure aromas of honeydew melon presented in a rich, medium-bodied style. There is excellent fruit depth in its satin-textured, well-balanced personality. Melon and candied citrus flavors last throughout the impressively long finish.
