The 2015 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso comes from a long Tommasi family tradition. They started making this double-fermented red wine 22 years ago, and indeed, they refer to the "Ripasso" process in quotes on the front label because they were making Ripasso before it officially became part of the appellation. This is a simple and balanced rendition with cherry, dark fruit and plum.
