All of Romero's wines are black/purple-colored, with fabulously ripe black fruit (cherries, raspberries, and a touch of licorice), firm underlying acidity, and thick, rich, concentrated flavors. The 1995 Cotes du Rhone Villages Rasteau Cuvee Fleur de Confiance is an enormous, Henri Bonneau-like wine of massive concentration and power. It should evolve well for 10-15 years!
