The 2000 Brut Grande Sendree shows lovely dimension and texture in its open, radiant fruit. Faint early signs of development in the bouquet add complexity and make this a delicious, complete wine to drink today. An understated, elegant finish rounds things out nicely. Disgorged July, 2007. This is a strong set of new releases from Drappier, with the exception of the roses, which fall a bit short of the quality level the estate achieves with its other wines.
