From Alexander Valley, a source that Turley has been using almost since the inception of the winery, comes the 2014 Zinfandel Vineyard 101?(15.4% alcohol). This is always a big-time winner in the Turley portfolio, but sadly, the production is tiny from this 2.5-acre parcel planted in the 1920s. The 2014 is dense ruby/purple and gloriously rich in fruit, with briary blackberry, strawberry, earth, spice and more floral notes. This full-bodied stunner is multidimensional and best drunk over the next 5-7 years.
