There is a lovely sweetness hiding in the back of this wine, which opens with ripe scents of Pinot Noir enhanced with baking spices. Though it tastes a bit dilute, it is balanced and varietal, and there is none of the aggressively herbal flavor of some Oregon Pinots. It’s just 13.5% alcohol, making it fine for mealtime.——P.G.(11/15/2008)—— 87
