Containing 2% Viognier, the 2008 Siblings Shiraz comes from estate grown vines planted in 1998. Deep garnet-purple colored, it offers moderate to intense aromas of ripe blackberries and black cherries over anise, nutmeg and mace plus a whiff of vanilla. Crisp and softly textured in the mouth, this medium bodied Shiraz gives a good amount of spiced berry flavors with a long clean finish. Drinking perfectly now, it should remain vibrant through 2014.
