Silky smooth, dry and classy, this Pinot shows great coastal personality in its tannins, crisp acidity and ripe flavors of cherries, cola, raspberries, pomegranates, orange zest and sweet rhubarb. That acidity is fresh and tart. Doesn’t seem likely to improve, so decant. Should be nice with roast salmon, lamb chops or a great grilled steak. ——S.H.(6/1/2010)—— 90
