The 2009 Chianti Classico Riserva Rocca Guicciarda wraps around the palate with a heady melange of plums, black cherries, camphor, spices and licorice. It possesses lovely depth and a round, caressing finish. This is a more structured style than the 2010 Chianti Classico, and almost as tasty. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019.
