A terrific bargain, this 2002, made from destemmed 100% Grenache (60-70 year old vines), was completely tank-fermented and aged. A Spanish fruit bomb, it reveals a dense purple color as well as loads of sweet kirsch liqueur, black currant, and berry fruit, medium body, terrific purity, and a Zinfandel-like spiciness.
