To be bottled in April, the 2018 Riesling Bechtheim is pure, precise and flinty on the nose. Very clear and complex on the palate, this is a rich yet pure and salty, tightly woven and powerful Riesling with grip and tension and sensual, even juicy fruit. The wine, however, is bone dry (0.8 grams per liter). Tasted at the domaine in March 2020.
